A leading digital streaming network seeks an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and highly organized Contract Administrator to support our Contract Administration team. The successful candidate will work closely with Legal, Business Affairs, Production, Casting, Labor Relations, Current, and Creative teams to ensure the timely and accurate administration of contractual obligations for above-the-line talent across multiple series.
Contract Administrator Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $35/hr
- Worksite: Hollywood, CA 90028 - Hybrid, Must be two days onsite (Tuesday required), and the second day of the week varies.
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment
Contract Administrator Responsibilities:
- Review contracts assigned to them, generate writer/director contracts for those episodes in their series assigned, draft payment schedules for talent, draft option notices, and work on writer’s guild reports.
- Disseminate the start paperwork for the assigned series
- Generate the following for all assigned series: Above-the-line payment schedules, episodic writer and director agreements, option pick-up and start date notices, notices of tentative writing credits, create and maintain show files and detailed informational charts.
- Send out pertinent documentation & maintain charts in connection with the company, Anti-Harassment Training, and NOE for all assigned series.
Contract Administrator Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in business and legal affairs, production payroll, and/or contract administration at a major studio or agency.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand contracts and terms of payment.
- Ability to work effectively and communicate with multiple internal and external groups.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 360 - Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to effectively interact with a range of personalities and styles to establish and maintain relationships with various departments.
- Ability to work well under pressure with many changing deadlines/strong time management skills in a large collaborative environment,
- Flexibility and the ability to take direction from several leaders.
Shift:
- 9 am to 6 pm Pacific Time office hours.
