One of the most prestigious and well-known universities is seeking a Business Analyst. The successful candidate will act as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, define, and document requirements for solving business challenges using technology. Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Effectively works with business stakeholders to capture functional and technical requirements with the understanding of the IT landscape in order to produce software requirement specifications and integration transformation and translation mappings in a variety of formats, including but not limited to:
- Business Process and/or Data Flow Models, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Requirements traceability matrix, and User Stories with Acceptance Criteria, as required.
- As needed, conduct testing according to requirements and provide analytics support, and provide deep validation for deliverables of technical products or initiatives from the development team.
- Develop system(s) training documentation and user guides as needed.
- Apply significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our customers.
Business Analyst Qualifications:
- 5+ years of health care IT experience in Managed Care Reporting or related field.
- Strong SQL Programming Skills (MS SQL Server/Azure platforms).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Problem-solving abilities with an understanding of statistical methods
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data structures, and reporting.
- Extensive knowledge of best practices regarding reporting, workflows, policies, procedures, systems, and culture in the healthcare environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solvin,g and metadata skills
- Ability to translate business questions and requirements into reports, views, and BI query objects.
Ability to program using SAS, R, Python, or Stata for data management and analysis is preferred.
Shift:
- 08:00 am - 05:00 pm.
