A leading professional networking company is seeking a Software Engineer. The successful candidate will develop and operate mission-critical services and applications that are used by customers and employees worldwide. The ideal candidate has six or more years of software engineering experience. The company offers a great work environment.

Software Engineer Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $80-$90/hr
• Worksite: Leading professional development and networking company (Mountain View, CA 94041, San Francisco, CA 94105 or, Sunnyvale, CA 94085 Bay Area - Hybrid, Must be onsite 3 days/week (Tuesday to Thursday required), Candidates local to Mountain View, CA and Sunnyvale, CA Bay Area are preferred))
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
• 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment

Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions for TPM process automation.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are successfully executed meeting our standards for quality software engineering.
• Design and ship a high volume of elegant code with foresight to avoid performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, availability, and testability issues.
• Maintain an understanding of the latest technologies and tools and leverage them to improve existing products and services.
• Identify opportunities within the team for potential leverage and reuse by developing libraries, APIs, and shared services.
• Contribute towards the definition of product and technical roadmaps.

Software Engineer Qualifications:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 1 year of experience with Java.
• 3-5+ years of experience with Python.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in the development as well as consumption of Web Services APIs (JSON / XML / RPC / REST)
• Experience in building systems, databases, Linux-based infrastructures, and systems using WDL.
• Experience developing mobile applications is a bonus.
• Proven track record of developing large-scale highly available services and systems in either Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Ability to build automation between different platforms.
• Understanding of AI and leveraging AI to solve simple problems.
• Demonstrated understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
• Demonstrated understanding of architectural models and the technology stack used for developing highly scalable and highly available web applications and systems.
• Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA and ServiceNow for task management.
• Experience with new LLMs (Large Language Models).
