A leading podcast and audiobook company is seeking a team-oriented Content Coordinator. The candidate will ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of the audiobook catalog while supporting content delivery to millions of listeners. The company offers a great work environment.

Content Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Queue Management:
    • Support production queue for internal/external audiobook providers
    • Gather necessary elements for audiobook production.
    • Troubleshoot issues with various teams/external partners to ensure timely release.
  • Catalog Maintenance:
    • Manage updates for existing products using content management systems and ONIX metadata.
    • Make and track changes to product records post-publication.

Content Coordinator Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of professional proofreading/copyediting experience.
  • 1+ years of editorial/operations experience in audiobook or podcast publishing.
  • B.A./B.S. or equivalent degree, preferably in humanities.
  • Technical proficiency in: Windows operating environment, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel), database concepts and best practices, cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Avid consumer of online media (audiobooks, podcasts, digital content).
  • Strong research skills (SEO, social media, web-based tools) are preferred.
  • Airtable is preferred.
  • Experience in audiobook, publishing, or digital media content operations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ONIX metadata standards is preferred.
  • Experience in project management and process improvement is preferred.
  • Understanding of content ingestion workflows is preferred.
