A leading digital streaming network is seeking a Market Research Analyst. The successful candidate will be a member of our Kids & Family Consumer Insights Team, supporting the kid's TV channel research with preschoolers (2-5s + parents) and big kids (6-11s). The research will include areas such as Content (development, acquisitions, pilot testing, and current series maintenance), Consumer Products (development and key metrics such as ownership and interest), Marketing (testing logos, trailers/promos, taglines, and key art), and Tracking (monitoring key metrics over time for both shows and franchises). Market Research Analyst Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $35/hr
- Worksite: Leading digital streaming network (New York, NY 10036 or Los Angeles, CA - Hybrid (Limited on-site needs), Must work Eastern office hours)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment, Possible extension
Market Research Analyst Responsibilities:
- Support in the design, data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings for both qualitative and quantitative research projects—including responsibilities such as notetaking and survey link testing.
- Assist with scheduling (managing the testing calendar and project timelines), gathering and organizing testing assets, managing vendors, and maintaining databases and shared server folders.
- Help to create and review research instruments and materials such as questionnaires, screeners, discussion guides, data tables, and reports.
- Update and summarize findings in monthly and annual tracking deliverables.
- Keep up with new and upcoming content in the preschool and kid landscapes.
- Contribute to special projects alongside other research counterparts as needed.
Market Research Analyst Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research, preferably in media/entertainment or a kid-focused industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in psychology, education, child development, marketing, or communications
- Experience with coding open-ended survey responses is a plus.
- Experience in media/entertainment or a kid-focused industry is preferred.
- Experience working with and/or moderating kids is a plus.
- Strong skills across Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Comfortable with navigating and analyzing large data sets.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, project management, and organization.
- Strong skills in data visualization.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Motivation to learn new things is important, with the ability to prioritize and communicate effectively, and an active curiosity.
Shift:
- 9:30 am to 5:30 pm Eastern office hours. Some adjustments may be needed at times.
- Some adjustments and flexibility in hours may be needed at times to support California and New York City offices.
