  • Worksite: Leading university (Redwood City, CA 94063 - Hybrid, Must be onsite 2-3 days per week)

A leading university is seeking a Business Operations Administrator. The successful candidate will provide extensive administrative and operational support with minimal supervision for the business functions of the school, including purchase, travel, reimbursement, and scheduling. Business Operations Administrator - University Responsibilities:

  • Act on behalf of the supervisor, department manager, or chair in regards to establishing priorities and identifying and resolving problems that are administrative in nature.
  • Assist students and their families on behalf of the Business Office team in regards to identifying and resolving problems with business transactions.
  • Ensure compliance of business transactions with unit, university, and sponsor policies.
  • Oversee and/or perform duties associated with scheduling, organizing, and operating complex conferences, seminars, and events, including arranging with vendors for services, overseeing the production and distribution of materials, administering logistics, and managing events within budget.
  • Work with vendors for services; oversee the production and distribution of materials; administer logistics and event planning in collaboration with respective units in the school and its outreach programs.
  • Oversee and/or process a variety of complex financial transactions; produce, monitor, and reconcile budget statements; research, identify, and resolve discrepancies. May assist with capital or special equipment requests and/or vendor selection.

Business Operations Administrator - University Qualifications:

  • 4 years of administrative experience.
  • Advanced computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.

Shift:

  • 35-40 hours per week.
  • 8 hours/day, Monday–Friday, flexible on the 8-hour window between 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
