Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Description

Summary: Talent Acquisition Specialist will source, attract, and hire qualified employees to support the entities and HR Department. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing in a recruiting capacity and recruiting full cycle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the recruiting process including, but not limited to, job description creation, job posting, sourcing, screening, conducting phone interviews, creating interview notes, administering appropriate assessments as needed, offer letter creation and coordinating the post-offer process.
  • Provide full-cycle recruiting services to all entities as needed.
  • Manage job posting presence at career fairs, local university events, social media sites, community network events, etc. and use traditional and nontraditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Acts as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies.
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • Maintain and update the staffing report; conduct weekly check-in meetings with Leadership and Hiring Managers.
  • Develop creative recruiting strategies to bring valuable candidates to the pool.
  • Master the intricacies of our applicant tracking system – we using ADP & Job Score.
  • Experience recruiting clinical and non-clinical professionals is preferred, but not required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree and/or equivalent and/or two (2) to five (5) years of direct Recruiting experience, or any similar combination of education and experience. Ability to work independently and search for solutions.
  • Comfortable cold-calling candidates and applying creative means to source and hook qualified candidates.
  • Blessed with the gift of gab and able to start and end their day pounding the phones, leaving no candidate stone unturned.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sourcing skills.
  • Excellent customer service & communications skills.
  • Able to manage a large and variable workload, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned work.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to effectively navigate through Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Team player attributes required.
