Finalsite is seeking an innovative and strategic Director of Product for our Communications (Comms) division, including our MessagesXR-Enterprise platform and the consumer facing (Parent App). In this influential leadership role, you will spearhead the strategic direction, development, and management of our communication products. Your expertise will guide the creation of advanced, intuitive, and efficient communication solutions, meeting the needs of educational institutions and enhancing the engagement between schools, educators, students, and parents.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Product Leadership: Develop and communicate a comprehensive vision and strategy for Finalsite's Comms product line, aligning it with the company's goals and the evolving needs of the educational sector.
Budget Ownership: Own and manage the budget for the Comms product line, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to drive product development, innovation, and growth.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale a team of product professionals including the Principal Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, and others, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Product Roadmap Development: Define and manage a robust product roadmap for Comms, prioritizing initiatives that deliver value, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party infrastructure providers crucial to the Comms product line, ensuring optimal service, strategic partnerships, and alignment with product goals.
Stakeholder Engagement: Forge strong, collaborative relationships with diverse internal teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and support, and notably with customer-facing product divisions.
Market Insight and Innovation: Maintain a pulse on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts. Spearhead partnerships, value-driven component creation, and explore M&A opportunities to enhance product offerings and market position.
Comprehensive Product Lifecycle Management: Ensure meticulous management of the entire product lifecycle, delivering high-quality, market-responsive Comms solutions on time and within scope.
Regulatory Compliance and Data Security: Ensure that Comms products adhere to the highest standards of data integrity, security, and compliance, meeting all regulatory requirements in current and future markets.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
10+ years in the realm of product management, with at least 3 in a director role on platform for a SaaS product.
Bachelor's in a relevant field; an MBA or equivalent experience is preferred
Prior experience as a Director of Product Management, especially in data, billing, or finance-based product teams in a broad-scale setup.
A comprehensive grasp of technology infrastructures and the nuances of software development.
Strong experience in budget management, with the ability to strategically allocate resources to maximize product success and ROI.
Proficient in managing vendor partnerships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring third-party services align with product goals and user needs.
Deep understanding of the rules and regulations related to communications within the markets where Finalsite is currently deployed and plans to expand in the future.
Stellar communication skills to bridge understanding across multidisciplinary teams.
Strong data-driven decision-making skills.
Comprehensive understanding of communication technologies, software development processes, and the latest trends in the education technology industry.
Strategic outlook with the verve to push the envelope in product innovation.
An inherent zeal for education and an alignment with Finalsite's core ethos.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Excellent digital collaboration skills, being able to work across multiple geographic regions and time zones using various internet-based tools.
