Responsibilities: The contractor shall provide logistics related support expertise to plan, coordinate and assist in the execution of acquisition logistics functions. These include
Support the planning, management, and coordination of life cycle logistics. Monitor, evaluate, and coordinate ILS plan implementation.
Ensure comprehensive consideration of all factors that impact on logistic design and support, including research and development, emerging technologies, testing, procurement strategy, supply support, personnel, and training.
Evaluate alternatives from the standpoint of life cycle cost and other trade-off parameters to ensure optimal use of resources without degrading operational readiness.
Accomplish or review logistics support documentation which includes: ILS Plans, Technical Orders, Technical Manuals, and work specifications.
Participate in integrated logistics support management team meetings, program management reviews, and other related meetings.
BS/BA and 10 years experience (or 20 years experience without BA/BS), very knowledgeable of military logistical processes, units and equipment.
