  • 40 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages in an acute care setting, develop and modify individualized plans of care, promote functional recovery, collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and serve as a clinical resource and role model while delivering high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services.

Physical Therapist Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients of all ages and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on clinical assessments, patient needs, and functional goals.
  • Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions while modifying plans of care as appropriate to optimize patient outcomes throughout treatment.
  • Monitor patient progress, reassess functional status, and adjust treatment strategies to support safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and professional role model for staff and students by demonstrating excellence in patient care, mentorship, and professional practice.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care and ensure high-quality rehabilitation services.

Physical Therapist Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Current Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Experience providing physical therapy services in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of physical therapy evaluation techniques, treatment planning, rehabilitation principles, and patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.

Shift:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
