A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Manufacturing Ops Support, Materials Handling to support warehouse and logistics operations by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials while maintaining inventory accuracy to support manufacturing, service, and customer fulfillment operations.

Manufacturing Ops Support, Materials Handling Responsibilities:

  • Perform inventory transactions within ERP systems while receiving, inspecting, storing, tracking, and maintaining accurate inventory records, material traceability, warehouse organization, and inventory accuracy.
  • Pick, stage, pack, ship, load, unload, and transfer materials, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and logistics partners, and support customer orders, internal transfers, returns, RMAs, and material disposition activities.
  • Conduct cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, discrepancy investigations, and inventory audits while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in Lean and 5S activities, identifying process improvements, and maintaining safe, organized, and efficient warehouse operations.

Manufacturing Ops Support, Materials Handling Qualifications:

  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory control, material handling, shipping, and receiving operations.
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management, shipping and receiving procedures, and inventory control practices.
  • Experience using ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to perform inventory transactions, maintain accurate records, and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Forklift certification is preferred, and the ability to lift and move materials in accordance with warehouse safety guidelines.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or high-tech environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cycle counting, inventory auditing, Lean, 5S, continuous improvement methodologies, and domestic and international shipping operations is preferred.
