A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Coordinator to support mechanical inspection operations by processing precision-machined components through manual and automated inspection systems, performing microscopic visual inspections, operating precision measurement equipment, and ensuring high-quality manufacturing standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Manufacturing Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Process precision-machined components through manual and automated mechanical inspection operations while ensuring compliance with manufacturing quality standards and operational procedures.
  • Perform detailed visual inspections using microscopes and operate automated inspection equipment to verify product quality, dimensional accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
  • Utilize precision measurement tools, including pin, thread, and ring gages, to inspect high-volume production parts and accurately document inspection results.
  • Support manufacturing operations by using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Microsoft Excel, and Windows-based applications to track production activities and maintain accurate inspection records.
  • Maintain operational excellence by following work instructions, interpreting engineering specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), collaborating with team members, and supporting training on day shift when required.

Manufacturing Operations Coordinator Qualifications:

  • Some college coursework or technical training is preferred.
  • Proficiency using Windows PC applications and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience performing high-volume parts inspection and handling.
  • Experience operating automated inspection equipment.
  • Experience performing microscopic visual inspection.
  • Experience using precision pin, thread, and ring gages.
  • Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Ability to interpret engineering specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
