A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to assist cardiologists with invasive, diagnostic, interventional cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures, perform technical hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation, provide high-quality patient care, and support cardiovascular services while ensuring safe and efficient procedural outcomes.
Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiologists during invasive, diagnostic, interventional cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures while maintaining a safe and efficient procedural environment.
- Perform technical hemodynamic monitoring and interpret hemodynamic data using automated monitoring techniques throughout cardiovascular procedures.
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients while ensuring compliance with established clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
- Provide patient-centered care before, during, and after procedures by monitoring patient status, responding to clinical needs, and supporting the procedural team.
- Perform additional cardiovascular imaging and procedural support duties as assigned to meet departmental and patient care needs.
Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a related field or Certificate of Completion from a Radiology Program.
- Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Radiologic Technology License.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration in Radiology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Knowledge of invasive cardiovascular procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, radiologic imaging principles, and patient care.
Shift:
- 6:30 am to 5:00 pm.
