Our evening Kitchen Coordinator should be a strong leader with excellent communication skills, passion for their work and a creative spirit.  Coordinating with the Executive Chef, this position is responsible for supervising, scheduling, and instruction of back of the house hourly kitchen employees in our main dining hall. Manages scheduling for daily service and special catered events and provides training to staff.  Ensures a high-quality service and product consistent with the expectations of the college and maintains high standards of sanitation.  

Serving as a representative of Roanoke College, Dining Services employees must display courtesy, tact and respect in all interactions with our students, members of the RC community, and with the general public.  All positions require work every other weekend.  Candidates must be willing to wear a uniform (provided) and non-slip safety shoes (shoe allowance provided).  This is a 12 month, full time position.  Great college benefits, including a free daily meal and tuition benefits after a year of service.
