Job Description

The Department of Health and Human Performance seeks qualified candidates to apply for Adjunct Instructors beginning August 29, 2023.

Options include:

  • Fitness for Life general education course
  • Activity courses as part of our general education program
  • Emergency Care course

In addition, assignments of adjuncts will be made based on subject preference, qualifications, and college need.

Successful candidates should have a master’s degree in a health-related field (or Bachelor’s with significant professional experience) as well as previous teaching experience at the college level is preferred. For the Emergency Care course only, applicants must also have an instructor certification from AHA, Red Cross, or National Safety Council. Successful candidates will likely have the opportunity to teach in subsequent semesters.
