Job Description

Grimshaw Architects has an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled and self-driven “Desktop Support Analyst” to join its London studio in Clerkenwell.

We are seeking an energetic & capable Desktop Support Analyst with a can do attitude, to be part of our solutions-based team playing an integral part in supporting our staff, end-compute & the platforms they use, delivering best of class support in a changing & agile AEC world.

The Desktop Support Analyst will be mindful of the support arena serving our practice & delivering against our SLA’s.

In this role, you will be passing knowledge to IT support team members, aiding in the supply of information for support readiness before the go-live of any new IT initiatives in a constantly progressive solutions-based landscape.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Good team player engaged in responding to and resolving staff IT issues within agreed timeframes, escalating faults where appropriate.
  • Deployment of applications, plug ins and scripts.
  • Day to day management of users, onboarding and offboarding staff, setting up staff IT equipment, remote access needs, O365, Zoom & Teams
  • Control of computer assets, maintaining accurate records of windows, mac, mobile devices and peripherals.
  • Support of AV integrated meeting spaces & rooms
  • Resolve printer issues, including toner replacements, basic fault finding and resolution.
  • Manage and maintain a healthy fleet of IT equipment.
  • Triage more complex support issues to other technical departments & senior staff including any security incidents that may arise.

Skills & Competencies

  • Personable with good communication skills
  • Good written English
  • Microsoft Windows 10 experience
  • Microsoft Outlook experience
  • Security aware - Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware & Email
  • Audio Visual on hand support - desirable
  • O365 Administration and App basics - an advantage
  • Service SLA orientated.
  • AEC industry exposure – desirable

The role attracts a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 as well as a competitive benefits package
