About the Role
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver cannabis products to customers within designated delivery areas.
- Verify and validate customer identification and age to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, customer information, and any issues encountered.
- Handle and transport cannabis products with care, ensuring they remain secure and undamaged during transit.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional, courteous manner.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including vehicle maintenance, safety, and security protocols.
- Create efficient routes and, when applicable, coordinate with the Delivery Drivers to receive and relay delivery assignments and updates.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
- Train new drivers and conduct re-training for existing drivers as needed.
- Route and dispatch drivers at various locations as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check and meet all state and local regulatory requirements for cannabis delivery.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle and transport cannabis products in compliance with state regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Previous delivery experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to spend multiple hours sitting in a vehicle to perform deliveries
