The Endpoint Solutions Technician serves as the subject matter expert for endpoint technologies and device management across the organization. This role is responsible for architecting, implementing, securing, and maintaining endpoint solutions that support business operations across retail, cultivation, and corporate environments.

This position partners closely with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and IT Operations teams to deliver a secure, scalable, resilient, and highly automated endpoint ecosystem while ensuring adherence to organizational security standards, regulatory requirements, and technology best practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete endpoint lifecycle, including procurement, provisioning, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and secure decommissioning, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and security requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions, scripts, and workflows to streamline endpoint provisioning, software deployment, configuration management, patching, compliance enforcement, and operational monitoring.
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for endpoint technologies, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Enterprise Patch Management, PKI/Certificate Services, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), virtualization platforms, and automation technologies such as PowerShell.
  • Configure, administer, and optimize endpoint management platforms, including Microsoft Intune, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions.
  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve endpoint security controls, including endpoint detection and response (EDR), antivirus, encryption, firewall management, vulnerability remediation, and patch management solutions.
  • Monitor endpoint health, security posture, and compliance metrics, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to maintain a secure and reliable computing environment.
  • Conduct regular security, compliance, and configuration audits to ensure adherence to organizational policies, industry best practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate, respond to, and resolve endpoint-related security incidents, vulnerabilities, and operational issues while coordinating with Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams as needed.
  • Design and implement automation processes that enhance infrastructure security, operational efficiency, and system reliability across endpoint and server environments.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize security monitoring and protection technologies that provide real-time visibility and defense against ransomware, malware, unauthorized access, and emerging threats.
  • Lead the planning, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and support of endpoint and security-related projects, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Perform quarterly reviews and assessments of endpoint technologies, security controls, configurations, and management processes, implementing improvements as necessary to enhance security and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide advanced technical support and escalation assistance for endpoint-related issues, responding to service requests, incidents, and operational needs in accordance with established service levels.
  • Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call support schedule to provide after-hours support for critical systems, security incidents, and business operations.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, standard operating procedures, system configurations, and knowledge base articles to support operational excellence and knowledge transfer.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4+ years of experience in Systems Architecture, Administration, Operations, and Software Support.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, current threat landscape, Linux, firewall and proxy technologies, forensic techniques, networking fundamentals, penetration techniques, encryption/cryptography technologies, and malware operation.
  • Experience in console management, server administration, troubleshooting, malware analysis, vulnerability remediation, data analytic reporting, and incident handling.


Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time
  • Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity
