Account Executive

Sales | Multiple cities | Full Time | From $50,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year

Devpost's mission is to inspire the world's developers to build great software. Developers consider us their go-to site for discovering and competing in the world’s software competitions (hackathons), and for finding inspiration to build their next big project.

We have a small but highly productive business development team. We work in a highly collaborative manner both within the sales team and with other parts of the company. Devpost has a very strong reputation within our industry; this is reflected by the majority of our business coming inbound and significant repeat/expansion business with our existing accounts. 

Customers who trust us to inspire these developers through hackathons include Amazon, Google, TechCrunch, Microsoft, Atlassian, Facebook,, DocuSign, Twitter, Snapchat, many startups and non-profits, and more. The global market for new software and its makers has exploded, and we’re uniquely positioned to provide developers with a platform for what matters to them: learning, community, and professional opportunity.

We have strong first party relationships and a track record of delivering exceptional results–now we want your help expanding our business with our largest customers. 

What we’re Looking For:

  • An ethical, hard-working sales professional with a track record of closing deals
  • Someone who consistently reaches and exceeds their quota
  • Experience with a full sales cycle from prospecting to repeat business
  • Experience using consultative selling techniques
  • Experience building lasting relationships with your customers
  • A track record of expanding accounts to different customers within a company

Bonus Points:

  • A solid network in the tech industry
  • Experience selling to product marketing managers at large tech companies
  • Experience with developer (and developer team) products
  • Experience with new product launches

The position is for full-time employment. We're based in New York City, but remote employees in the US and Canada are welcome.
