About the Job
The Senior Provider Network Account Manager reports to the National Network Lead – Network Development and Account Management and works very closely with the local Market President and leadership team. This position has accountability for providing strategy, judgment, organization, and evidenced-based analysis to influence decisions and directly meet CINQCARE requirements. This business development position is designed to cultivate and grow relationships with select contracted providers. This position serves as a liaison between the local market and key providers and is responsible for the accomplishment of both healthcare and business objectives as established for each key account.
Responsibilities
The Senior Provider Network Account Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Leverage relationship management skills to grow/contract additional local market providers into the CINQCARE ACO REACH and IPA networks in accordance with established budget targets.
- Develop mutually acceptable set of goals and objectives for each key account by product line offering (e.g. Medicaid, Medicare, ACO REACH, etc).
- Plan, execute and manage account plans and projects through a collaborative effort with both CINQCARE and key providers.
- Provide regular updates, respond to inquiries, and address key account concerns in a timely manner.
- Manage Joint Operating Committee Meetings.
- On an annual basis, tier Providers within the Network to segment providers into levels that proscribe the frequency of engagement.
- Develop annual “Success Plans” for providers to establish goals for each performance year in relation to baseline metrics.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support the provider throughout the measurement year.
- Assure that CINQCARE’s internal resources and priorities are aligned with key account objectives and advise leadership where there is opportunity for improvement.
- Conduct market analysis and evaluate competitor’s practice and market status.
- Develop plans to displace competition.
- Maintain complete organizational knowledge and product and services familiarity.
- Add value by conveying useful industry, government and practice innovation trends and initiatives.
- Maintain and update key account contact records In CINQCARE CRM System
- Assure team selling efforts are in place and coordinated for payer membership growth.
- Assure Key Account satisfaction and a positive Provider Experience with CINQCARE.
- Meet or exceed individual key account P+L objectives.
- And of course, perform other job-related duties as assigned.
The Provider Engagement Account Manager Senior will also have the following duties:
- Leadership: This role will lead in defining and executing strategies and solutions to create business value, including building a team to design, develop, and execute those strategies and solutions to deliver desired outcomes.
- Strategy: Establish the business strategy and roadmap: (1) improve outcomes for CINQCARE members; (2) enhance the efficacy of other CINQCARE. business divisions; and (3) develop and deliver external market opportunities for CINQCARE products and services. In establishing the business strategy, the Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr. will define and innovate sustainable revenue models to drive profitability of the Company.
- Collaboration: Ensure that capabilities form a cohesive offering, including by working closely with other business divisions to learn their needs, internalize their knowledge, and define solutions to achieve the business objectives of CINQCARE.
- Knowledge: Provide subject matter expertise in the account management solutions, including determining and recommended approaches for provider engagement, relationship management, information sharing, education, solution deployment and performance evaluation.
- Culture: Accountable for creating a productive, collaborative, safe and inclusive work environment for the Provider Network team and as part of the larger Company.
Qualifications
The Senior Provider Network Account Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent management related degree with a record of strong academic achievement;
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in managed care or other healthcare related relationship management position(s). Appreciation for details with ability to read and understand provider contracts;
- Entrepreneurial: CINQCARE seeks to fix gaps that have persisted for generations in the delivery of care to Black and Brown populations. This position is accountable for bringing self-motivation and creative solutions to ensure CINQCARE is positioned to innovatively deliver on its promise.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills; ability to clearly articulate and present concepts and models in an accessible manner to CINQCARE’s team, investors, partners, and other stakeholders. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Relationships: Ability to build and effectively manage relationships with business leaders and external constituents; and,
- Culture: Good judgement, impeccable ethics, and a strong team player; desire to succeed and grow in a fast-paced, demanding, and entrepreneurial Company.

The working environment and physical requirements of the job include:
In-office work (minimum three days per week) is performed indoors in a traditional office setting with conditioned air, artificial light, and an open workspace.
In this position you will need an to communicate with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers in person and over devices, sometimes with people who are agitated. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Must be able to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents. Lifting of up to 10 lbs. occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines. Good reasoning ability is important. Able to understand and utilize management reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business.
