Junior Paid Social, Specialist

Job Purpose:

The Junior Paid Social Specialist assists in designing, executing, measuring, and optimizing paid social campaigns within various social media platforms. Using data and concepts related to both paid social media marketing and the hospitality industry, the Junior Paid Social Specialist contributes to developing paid social strategy, assists in launching and managing campaigns, and makes performance optimizations to meet or exceed KPIs. They are resourceful and have a strategic mindset with budding analytical skills to provide insights and recommendations based on social trends, market research, and campaign performance data.

Job Responsibilities:

• Launch and manage paid media campaigns across various social platforms – primarily Facebook/Instagram, but occasionally Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.

• Manage 3-5 ad accounts with budgets up to $50k monthly

• Set up campaigns aligned with target audience and goals, utilizing targeting parameters effectively and managing budgets and pacing throughout flights

• Understand Facebook's ad auction and delivery system to optimize campaign structure, placements, and ad formats to maximize campaign effectiveness

• Analyze campaign performance data and KPIs, identify and make optimizations for improvement, and articulate strategic recommendations

• Write actionable, data-driven insights to drive campaign success and achieve objectives, and clearly communicate recommendations to internal teams and clients

• Identify emerging trends from performance analysis to inform future campaign strategies

• Optimize paid social spend across platforms and collaborate with the wider team to ensure optimal allocation across channels


Requirements:

• BA or BS from an accredited college or university

• 1+ years of hands-on experience working in Facebook Business Manager and Facebook Ad Manager to execute Paid Social Media campaigns


Competencies:

• Experience with and understanding of Facebook Pixels and Event Manager and tracking and measurement of paid social campaigns and multi-channel attribution

• Familiarity with reporting and writing insights

• Understand lower- and upper-funnel KPIs, particularly ROAS

• Participate actively and effectively in internal communication channels and meetings

• Manage time effectively and handle account responsibilities independently

• Demonstrate high motivation and collaborative spirit within the social team and across departments, while effectively problem-solving and prioritizing tasks with a detail-oriented and analytical approach

• Follow Cendyn Paid Social team processes accurately and effectively

• Utilize Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) proficiently

• Experience working remotely

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

• Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Reddit experience is a plus

• Hospitality marketing experience is a plus

• Facebook (Meta) Blueprint certification is a plus


Work Timings

Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 9 PM IST. This will provide healthy overlap between India team and US team and supporting both to ensure adequate collaboration. This role will be working in Hybrid Mode and will require at least 2 days’ work from office at Hyderabad OR Gurgaon location.
