Instructor needed for CSC 111 Introduction to CADD, meeting Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 9:50pm 8/24/19 through 12/14/19. Introduction to CADD is an introductory level CADD course for engineering students, using AutoCAD. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to create and edit a simple AutoCAD drawing. The instructor must be proficient in AutoCAD so that the students will be able to successfully understand the AutoCAD user interface and workspace, use basic drawing, editing, and viewing tools, organize a drawing using layers, understand and insert blocks (symbols), prepare a layout to be plotted, and add text, hatching, and dimensions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting classes in accordance with Cecil College approved syllabi and the stipulations of the department. The successful candidate will also be responsible for meeting every scheduled class, including the final examination, for the full number of scheduled minutes in the room assigned. Any changes in meeting place or time must be reported to the Office of Academic Programs prior to the class meeting.
Master’s degree required. Teaching experience preferred. Familiarity with the use of technology (online learning management systems, etc). Proficient in word processing, e-mail and web browsing.
