Caldera Medical is a growth stage medical device company dedicated to our mission to “Improve the Quality of life for Women”.  As one of the key contributors within the Finance and Accounting department, the Accounting Associate is responsible for handling many of the critical day-to-day, weekly, and month-end tasks.  The Accounting Associate has exposure to and interacts with every department, at all levels within the company.  Come join a high-energy team and support an amazing company focused on improving women’s health worldwide. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Post AP invoices daily (3-way matching) 
•Perform weekly check runs
•Process payroll
•Prepare & post payroll journal entries
•Accounts Receivable & collections
•Bank & credit card reconciliations
•Travel expense processing 
•Month End close re: AP, AR and Account Reconciliations
•Support with special projects, ad-hoc research, and analysis

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•3+ years of general bookkeeping experience 
•2+ years of payroll & AP experience 
•Some Accounting coursework required
•Manufacturing company experience preferred
•Moderate Microsoft Excel skills
•Experience with major ERP systems (MS NAV Dynamics a plus)
•Experience with large payroll portals (Paylocity a plus)
•Highly organized and detail-oriented
•Positive attitude 
•Strong work-ethic and initiative
•Strong multi-tasking skills
•Deadline driven
•Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization
