US Sales Leader (Surgical Business Unit)

Message from the Hiring Manager:

The US Sales Leader will lead Caldera’s U.S. Surgical sales organization, responsible for achieving revenue and growth objectives through strategic leadership, strong execution, and team development. This role will drive commercial excellence by developing sales strategies, implementing scalable processes, and fostering a culture of accountability and performance.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Revenue & Growth: Own revenue performance against corporate goals; forecast accurately and deliver consistent growth results.

  • Sales Strategy: Develop national sales strategies, territory plans, quotas, and compensation structures aligned with business objectives.

  • Team Leadership: Hire, coach, and manage a high-performing sales team, including Regional Sales Managers and National Account leaders.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Clinical, Finance, and Operations to drive execution and ensure alignment.

  • KOL & Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, health systems, and key customers.

  • Performance Analytics: Leverage CRM data and sales analytics to identify trends, optimize productivity, and drive accountability.

  • Communication: Serve as a clear, inspiring communicator — upward to leadership, outward to customers, and downward to the team.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 7+ years of sales management experience in a medical device company including 2+ full years leading national sales organization with minimum 2 years of O.R. selling experience
  • Management experience in small to mid-sized company < $100M in revenue with double digit growth
  • Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales quota
  • Travel expectation 35%
