A leading professional networking and development company is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager. The ideal candidate has full-time program management experience within an Operations or technical department. The company offers a great work environment!

Sr. Technical Program Manager Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $110-$120/hr
  • Worksite: Leading professional networking and development company (Mountain View, CA 94085)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment, possible extension or conversion

Sr. Technical Program Manager Responsibilities:  

  • Interact one-to-one with individual technical contributors, senior leaders, as well as coaching teams.
  • Help operations teams go from fighting fires to avoiding them.
  • Help teams to be more efficient, see the big picture, and ensure processes scale appropriately with the company.
  • Create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation, and learning.
  • Manage and maintain project backlogs and ensure forward momentum with project execution.
  • Lead effort to resolve project conflicts and establish appropriate resolution paths.
  • Manage dependencies between multiple projects.
  • Mentor individuals in best practices for planning and execution.
  • Develop strong partnerships with technology and business leaders.
  • Track status and progress of multiple projects.
  • Identify and assess risk early, and mitigate through trade-offs
  • Manage resource planning.

Sr. Technical Program Manager Qualifications:  

  • 4+ years of full-time program management experience within an Operations or technical department.
  • 2+ years of direct experience with multiple Agile teams.
  • B.S./B.A. in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience as a Software Engineer in past would be a Plus.
  • Resource planning (headcount management, funding, etc) is a plus.
  • Mastered Agile methods and practices through multiple teams (Scrum and Kanban)
  • Strong practical and advanced theoretical understanding of managing the software life cycle of large-scale programs and projects.
  • Familiar with coding. 
  • Ability to manage multiple major concurrent projects.
  • Master in the use of spreadsheet or project management tools for project status tracking.
  • Experience in portfolio management.
