A leading enterprise software solutions company is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test. The successful candidate will test, automate and track issues. The ideal candidate has automation experience. The company offers a great work environment!

Software Development Engineer in Test Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $60/hr
  • Worksite: Leading enterprise software solutions company (Pleasanton, CA 94588)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 1 Month Assignment, possible extension or conversion

Software Development Engineer in Test Responsibilities:  

  • Test, automate, and track issues.
  • Verify issues and perform regression testing when things are resolved.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases: scope, estimate, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Collaborate closely with different teams to identify system requirements and testing coverages.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create test cases.

Software Development Engineer in Test Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years in automation experience.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, in particular, Java or Python or equivalent.
  • Experience in test automation skills for backend RestAPI applications and processes.
  • Experience working in multiple automation frameworks like TestNG/JUnit/Pytest.
  • Experience in CI/CD tools like bamboo or TeamCity/Jenkins and code revision tool like GIT.
  • Experience in cloud-based solutions, especially using AW.
  • Experience in Unix/Linux environment and scripting.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development process.
