QA Specialist - Marketing 2021-10-32 

A leading technology company is seeking a QA Specialist - Marketing. The successful candidate will perform quality assurance over all of our customer-facing Direct Mail and Email communications to ensure no errors via diligent proofing. The ideal candidate has work experience proofreading direct mail and/or email. 

QA Specialist - Marketing Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $50/hr
  • Worksite: Leading streaming company (New York, NY 10020, Open to remote)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
  • 40 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment

QA Specialist - Marketing Responsibilities: 

  • Review all Direct Mail and Email creatives to ensure:
    • There are no grammatical, spelling, spacing, punctuation, margin, or mathematical errors.
    • The creative matches the final art released or most recently approved art.
    • The variable data is populating correctly against the customer data (first name and last name, address, etc.)
    • The correct phone number, vanity, and codes are on the creative (checking against the provided grid)
  • Verify phone number functionality and correct offer.
  • Verify vanity/online functionality and correct offer.
  • Include clicking or typing in links to ensure they direct to the correct location.
  • Verify PQR code functionality and correct offer.
  • Verify that UTM codes are correct in email and direct mail communications.
  • Ensure correct legal copy is included and the offer details match the offer reflected in the communication.
  • Request phone numbers to our call center management team.
  • Request vanities through our DE team.

QA Specialist - Marketing Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of work experience proofreading direct mail and/or email.
  • College Degree or relevant work experience. 
  • Very detail-oriented and diligent at catching errors.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
  • Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
