A leading music streaming company seeks a Principal Incident Response Consultant to guide complex investigations and drive critical security operations.

Principal Incident Response Consultant Qualifications:

  • Serve as the technical lead and primary escalation point for the Security Operations Center, directing major incident response activities and making critical severity and escalation decisions.
  • Lead incident investigations from initial triage through containment, remediation, and root cause analysis while mentoring analysts and incident responders.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with enterprise security, threat intelligence, and other technical teams to ensure effective response during multi-team security incidents.
  • Identify operational gaps, process improvements, and coverage risks, providing recommendations to strengthen security operations and incident response capabilities.
  • Utilize SIEM, EDR, and case management platforms to manage investigations, support threat detection, and maintain efficient security operations.

Principal Incident Response Consultant Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in incident response or security operations, including leading complex security investigations and acting as a technical decision-maker during live incidents.
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, and security case management tools, with strong expertise in incident triage, escalation, and response coordination.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Shift:

  • Shift times and schedules are subject to change based on operational needs.
  • Available to start within 1 to 2 weeks.
