A leading technology company is seeking an Laser Alignment/Test Technician to operate standard and custom test equipment and execute complex fabrication and assembly procedures. Laser Alignment/Test Technician Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $22

Laser Alignment/Test Technician Responsibilities: 

  • Align lasers to a target and fine tune for maximum power and efficiency.
  • Run laser systems through manual and automated test sequences.

  • Troubleshoot laser upon failure and conduct necessary actions to repair the laser heads.

  • Perform critical cosmetic and cleanliness inspection and packaging of the laser system,

  • Effectively communicate with both verbal and written word to team members.  Proficiently read and understand English to understand work instructions and company communications.

Laser Alignment/Test Technician Qualifications: 

  • 5 – 7 Years’ experience assembling, aligning and testing laser related products.

  • Experience with system level testing of laser systems and the ability to troubleshoot laser systems to root cause.

  • Ability to work individually in a team setting with other technicians and engineers.

  • Ability to cross train in a flexible manufacturing cell environment.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.

  • Measures for this position are:

    • Quality and quantity of work produced

    • Ability to precisely and repeatedly follow written instructions

    • Follow cleanroom protocols to maximize cleanliness of the product

    • Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and engineers

Shift:

  •  Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM Please note: This position may rotate to swing shift (1:30PM - 10:00PM)

Job Type: 

  • 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment
