A leading digital streaming network seeks a Finance Consultant to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for its film portfolio.

Finance Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain long-term film financial models from post-greenlight through the film's lifecycle, updating ultimate projections, reconciling third-party distribution and licensing agreements, and ensuring accurate financial forecasts.
  • Consolidate film slate financials, perform ad hoc financial analysis, evaluate risks and opportunities impacting portfolio performance, and recommend actions to improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, long-range plans, monthly and quarterly financial close activities, and ongoing financial reporting in partnership with accounting and financial systems teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Affairs, Theatrical Distribution, Marketing, Television Licensing, Transactional, Accounting, and cross-functional finance teams to support business planning and financial decision-making.
  • Monitor entertainment industry trends, update financial assumptions, develop financial models and presentations, and deliver insights that support strategic planning and executive decision-making.

Finance Consultant Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modeling expertise with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and solid understanding of financial statements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience with FP&A, financial forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with film ultimates and entertainment financial modeling is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Hyperion is preferred.
  • Entertainment, media, or studio industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions and management levels.

Shift:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
