A leading podcast and audiobook company is seeking a Content Planning and Operations Analyst. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized business reports to track daily, monthly and yearly progress of organizational KPIs/success metrics. The ideal candidate has relevant experience in the areas of strategic Analytics, Business Intelligence, Media/Content Operations, or Consulting in a digital environment or in a related field. Content Planning and Operations Analyst Responsibilities:  

  • Identify and design both standard and customized business reports and dashboards to support day-to-day practices and business workflows across the content creation pipeline, deal operations, programming, production, content ingestion, and promotion activities.
  • Partner with CPO (content planning & operations group) and GIDs (data research) teams to track, report, and provide analysis on strategic business goals and metrics (OKRs, financials)
  • Support the broader Content Organization and stakeholder groups through the creation and maintenance of pipeline reports and dashboards.
  • Proactively identify areas to improve data quality, business processes, and increase usability.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to identify business trends that will grow the content business. 

Content Planning and Operations Analyst Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the areas of strategic Analytics, Business Intelligence, Media/Content Operations, or Consulting in a digital environment or in a related field.
  • B.A. or equivalent degree preferred.
  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business desirable along with demonstrated experience in an analytical and/or operational role.
  • Ability to create and provide data/analytical reports/dashboards to cross-functional teams, experience using SQL and relational databases as well as other data visualization tools like Tableau or MicroStrategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen well and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
  • A self-starter with impeccable organizational and analytical skills and an eye for process improvements.
  • Amazon experience and/or experience in a digital media, entertainment, or publishing field (preferred)
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (preferred)
  • Experience with IP licensing and/or contracts (preferred)
  • Experience with AirTable and/or FilmTrack (preferred)
