A leading university is seeking a Computing Support Analyst. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for technical support, triaging and addressing a wide range of IT requests, including A/V, computer, networking, and mobile issues, while ensuring resolution or proper escalation. Computer Support Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Triage and respond to IT support requests via tickets, walk-ins, and messages.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to A/V equipment, Windows and Mac computers, mobile devices (iPhone/Android), and basic networking.
  • Provide on-site support for events and meetings.
  • Own each request through resolution or escalate when needed.
  • Document issues and solutions clearly in the ticketing system.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and communicate professionally with users.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to process improvements.

Computer Support Specialist Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience is highly preferred.
  • CompTIA A+ certification is a plus.
  • Experience supporting audio/video systems in event spaces and conference rooms.
  • Experience with supporting various computing and mobile operating systems like Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iOS, and Android.
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware issues on desktops/laptop computing devices and mobile devices like phones and tablets.
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting cloud services like Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspaces.
  • Experience working in a higher education environment.
  • Experience using ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with varying, strict deadlines.

Computer Support Specialist Shift:

  • 9:30 AM to 4 PM
