A leading technology company is seeking an Aerospace & Defense Solution Specialist to lead the development of solution services for of the Aerospace and Defense Industry, in close collaboration with the planning team, engineering, marketing, and global sales & delivery teams. The A/D Practice Service Specialist will manage new services projects through the life cycle process and work with the extended team to bring the new services to market.
Aerospace & Defense Solution Specialist Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $55
- Worksite: Leading Electronics Testing and Measurement company (Colorado Springs, CO 80907)

Aerospace & Defense Solution Specialist Responsibilities:
- Establish effective relationships with multiple levels of management across organizations to drive strategic dialog and decisions
- Create services that can be leveraged and re-used in multiple customer situations / use-cases, to minimize customization
- Understand and advise the A/D Solution Services partners on technical service needs and feasibility
- Collaborate with finance for commercial viability and ROI
- Lead A/D services projects across multiple functions to ship, transferring the knowledge and IP to the sales, delivery, and operations teams
- Translate customer challenges into services solutions which may include 3rd party products
- Provide technical analysis and decisions about the new service
- Lead services projects and team meetings
- Schedule and conduct retrospective meetings. Document and communicate key learnings.
- Work closely with the marketing team to define training, go-to-market plans, and key differentiation and business value messaging
- Analyze and report on business metrics and recommended changes based on results.
Aerospace & Defense Solution Specialist Qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s Degree desirable
- At least 5 years’ experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry
- At least 8 years’ experience with company test equipment
- Relevant technical project/program management experience
- Proven technical and leadership skills to drive change
- Ability to lead virtual teams across organizations and influence individuals as well as teams
- Knowledge of company calibration and repair services
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Experience communicating program progress and status to senior management
- Ability to multi-task and manage incoming service requests from different channels
- Detail-oriented, with experience building financial and decision support models
- Demonstrated judgment to make sound business decisions
Job Type:
- 30-40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment
