POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Content Marketing Director at Swing Education, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing content strategies to drive brand awareness, brand engagement, and lead generation. You will lead a team of creative professionals to produce compelling content across various platforms to amplify our brand presence in K-12.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Content Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies aligned with business objectives and target audiences, utilizing a mix of written, visual, and multimedia content.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of content creators, including writers, designers, and multimedia specialists, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high-quality content production.

  • Content Creation and Oversight: Oversee the creation of diverse content assets, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, videos, infographics, webinars, social media content, and more.

  • Brand Positioning: Ensure consistency in brand messaging and tone across all content touchpoints, maintaining brand integrity and effectively communicating Swing Education's value propositions.

  • Distribution Channel Expertise: Identify, evaluate, and leverage diverse distribution channels (e.g., social media, email, influencers, partnerships, paid advertising, SEO) to maximize content visibility, engagement, and audience reach.

  • Content Performance Measurement: Track and analyze content performance using relevant metrics and analytics tools, and make data-driven decisions to enhance content effectiveness.

  • Campaign Management: Conceptualize and execute integrated marketing campaigns, leveraging content to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, sub growth and customer success, to align content strategies with overall business goals and campaigns.

  • Market and Industry Research: Stay updated on education industry trends, market insights, and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities and maintain relevance in the market.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identifies team needs and competencies

  • Drives or facilitates interviewing, hiring, and training employees for relevant roles

  • Works with employees to appraise performance; reward employees and drive retention, and address complaints or resolve problems


REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in content marketing, preferably in the education or technology sector.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing content strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire creativity and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in SEO best practices, content management systems (CMS), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
