ShareThis, Inc. is recruiting for our Palo Alto, CA office: Senior Engineer: Build predictive models using logistic regression, random forest, and deep learning techniques for advertising segment generation. Stay up to date on the state-of-the-art in machine learning ideas and software in collaboration with research scientists. Contribute to the design and architecture of terabyte scale real-time and batch architectures. Develop high-performance and scalable distributed systems using Spark, MapReduce, HDFS, DynamoDB, and Kinesis. Write code in Scala/Java/C++. Participate in code reviews to ensure that solutions align to architectural guidelines. Deliver on software projects using Agile development processes. Identify and implement metrics to improve performance and quality of applications. Drive product quality and direction by collaborating with users, product managers, and other engineers. Troubleshoot and debug container-based software through direct means and by instrumentation with logs and metrics. Full-time telecommuting allowed. $184,662/year.
