Objectives of this role:

  • As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success
  • SDR’s will build and qualify prospecting lists for data opportunities across agency planning teams, programmatic in-house partners, and client direct marketers
  • Become an expert at using lead generation tools to routinely extract contacts and create accurate and targeted lists of prospects.
  • Learn how to thoroughly research your leads, understand their needs, and determine which communication channel is the most appropriate
  • Perform outbound prospecting activities via email, phone, and in person to uncover prospect’s business needs
  • Track lead activities in Salesforce
  • Assist in driving growth with insights creation and customization
  • Work seamlessly with your Account Executives on all new and existing business
  • Meet and exceed a quarterly activity/revenue quota
  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook

Characteristics & Traits in order to be successful in this role:

  • 1-2 years of sales development experience a benefit
  • Ability to think strategically, understand the art of writing thoughtful client emails and translate client’s needs into compelling solutions
  • Dedication to providing the highest level of customer service
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and able to complete tasks with minimal oversight
  • Relentless go-getter who is a hustler and persistent
  • Great communication skills both internally and externally
  • Top level understanding of the media landscape & digital media marketing world beneficial
  • Experience and eagerness in analyzing data
  • Ability to multi-task and work with multiple teams
  • Results oriented and accountable for monthly opportunities, activity tracking, and data cleanliness goals
