Sales Support Coordinator
Sales | Loves Park, IL | Full Time | From $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
Position Summary: The Sales Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales order administration process, providing exceptional customer support, and generating key performance reports. This role acts as a vital bridge between sales, customers, and internal teams to ensure all orders are processed accurately and efficiently, directly contributing to business growth and high customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned.
- Answers and directs phone calls to appropriate personnel and departments.
- Provides purchase order confirmations and shipping information to sales team and customers.
- Enters certifications into ERP software.
- Schedules building maintenance and manages front-office operations.
- Responds to customer-specific administrative requests such as daily shipments and quality lists.
- Reviews and follows up with the sales team to organize and clean up sales orders, purchase orders, RMAs, credits and will-calls.
- Tracks and expedites purchase orders, transfers and sales orders.
- Assists sales team in following up and responding to customers on administrative tasks.
- Collaborates with sales, operations, and accounting, fabrication, and customer service teams to deliver exceptional customer support.
- Performs additional administrative and sales support duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Proficiency in standard office and database programs/equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in a sales support role or equivalent
