Your mission?

As part of the Commercial Operations team, you will be the linchpin in optimizing and scaling our Commercial Operations strategy by working with the team, cross functionally and autonomously. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive revenue growth, streamline operations, remove roadblocks, and enhance overall business performance. You will be asked to provide data analysis and be an expert at using CRM & MAP (like Salesforce & Marketo) and other internal systems to track the performance of Commercial Operations activities, workload, and ability to recognize opportunities for improvements. This is a hands-on role designed for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and requires minimal supervision.

The Commercial Operations environment is rapidly evolving and requires the team to be able to think comprehensively about our tasks and the impact they have on adjacent systems/processes/departments. You'll oversee managing all activities and ensuring that we as a team deliver quality work within deadlines. Your team coordination and project management skills will make the difference here. You are expected to make sure the team understands priorities, delivers results with minimum errors, and, most importantly, meets the deadlines. You'll be a go-to person for advice while contributing to the team goals and deliverables. You'll be responsible for updating/briefing Commercial Operations Manager on a regular and proactive basis, understanding which activities or projects need support, or proactively address areas of improvement in team deliverables and collaborate to implement solutions

You will be in charge of…

  • Provide guidance to/from Leadership, Marketing, Sales, Ecosystem, Success and Commercial Operations team and align with them on operational concerns
  • Ensure Revenue process requirements are met globally (avoid creating silos) and requests are efficiently moving through
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness across revenue teams, leveraging our ecosystem of strategic systems and tools
  • Proactively identify barriers and opportunities for improvement within Commercial Operations and other relevant departments and discuss appropriate course of action with Commercial Operations Manager
  • Coordinate, lead & support internal projects and tasks, as assigned by the Commercial Operations Manager
  • Prioritize Commercial Excellence initiatives and make impactful decisions while setting boundaries, enforcing best practices, balancing competing demands, and negotiating solutions effectively
  • Serve as a mentor and coach for new Commercial Operations team members
  • Facilitate communication to address commercial challenges and seize opportunities while leading cross-departmental projects and initiatives
  • Proactively monitor team's deliverables to strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts
  • Initiate change management in various areas of internal Commercial Operations processes & tools
  • Proactively identify and tackle tasks and departmental projects by taking ownership in them, anticipating needs, offerings solutions that ensure effective completion
  • Conduct quality control of Commercial Operations deliverables by staying updated on best practices and implement process improvements for data quality excellence

What should you have to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in revenue operations, marketing/sales/customer operations, or a related role within a B2B software or SaaS company
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce CRM experience is a must
  • Experience with Marketo or other similar MAP is a must
  • Understanding of buyer/customer journeys and how various systems and processes can help to drive company efficiency
  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities
  • Be an experienced user of tools such as Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence), DataLoader, DocuSign
  • Be a true team player and cherish teams' success
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks, offer solutions, and complete projects efficiently
  • Confident, kind, and assertive decision-maker, comfortable with setting boundaries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights that connect to the company’s overall goals
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven ability to mentor and coach team members
