Position Overview:
PKF-Mark III, Inc. is in search of a driven large diameter drilling foreperson capable of managing a field crew and executing the work in a safe and productive manner.
Responsibilities:
- Review of contract documents, geotechnical reports, boring logs and engineering packages a plus
- Prioritize daily activities and relay instructions to crew members
- Manage the information, tools and materials needed to complete the tasks safely, correctly, productively, and on schedule
- Understand production expectations and positively affect production outputs
- Work with the foundations manager to forecast and schedule needs with equipment and manpower
- Keep and maintain drill logs in accordance with project requirements
- Be able to give input to foundation manager on projects being considered for bidding
- Understand Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Practices
- Deliver weekly safety reports and Toolbox Talks
- Ability to manage crew timecard and daily log
Requirements:
- 5-10 years direct experience
- A proven track record of successfully completed projects
- Able to operate equipment including a drill a plus
- Able to weld a plus
- CDL-A a plus
