Position Overview:

PKF-Mark III, Inc. is in search of a self-motivated heavy equipment and fleet coordinator to support the company's equipment from the yard facility in Ottsville, PA. This individual needs to have a keen attention to detail, excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills and have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and Word. The candidate must be able to manage corporate equipment rentals with outside vendors, which includes communicating details directly to our job teams and reviewing all rental-related invoices. This individual will also be responsible for handling all correspondence on our equipment-related insurance claims and processing our oversize/overweight trucking permits. We will also look to have this individual involved in other aspects of managing our corporate fleet of equipment such as processing reoccurring monthly spreadsheets and invoices necessary to keep our equipment working. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and has an interest in the construction/heavy equipment industry!

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with (3-5 years) experience with Construction equipment
  • Well organized, strong ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to meet fast-paced, changing schedules and project priorities
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and time-management skills
  • Is a self-starter, self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision at times
  • Great communication skills required
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Construction and/or equipment experience preferred
  • Computer skills in Word/Excel required. Ability to learn new programs
  • Manage outside rental equipment needs, durations, and contract terms with projects/vendors/rental companies
  • Manage equipment projections by job with Project Superintendents
  • Handle all correspondence on equipment related claims
  • Process oversize/overweight permits across multiple states/agencies as needed
  • Help manage GPS tracking systems
  • Process/review reoccurring monthly spreadsheets/invoices related to our monthly fuel card and Ez-Pass transactions and our monthly lease payments
