Position Overview:

PKF-Mark III, Inc. has immediate openings for skilled carpenters for heavy highway, bridge, water & wastewater, and transit projects, primarily located throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The ideal candidate possesses a background in various heavy civil construction disciplines; a strong knowledge of bridge, box culvert, drainage structure, and general concrete construction; and is able to align forms and set grades.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to strict safety policies, ensuring safe performance of all tasks and duties
  • Construct formwork for structural components such as abutments, bents, pier caps, decks, overhangs, & parapets
  • Set and align concrete forms to desired pitch and depth
  • Safely operate and maintain various hand and power tools

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage a carpentry crew
  • At least 2+ years of related experience on heavy civil construction projects running form crew
  • Strong background forming and pouring footings, walls, columns, & bridge decks using steel forming systems
  • Comfortability working at heights
  • Ability to access all points of a construction site in all climates
  • Ability to operate grade all & loader a plus
