Pacific Program Management (PPM) is looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor on the West Coast to own, drive and lead the full life cycle recruiting for the entire company. This goes beyond your typical recruiter opportunity. PPM is looking for a leader that will partner, advise and be the expert in sourcing, identifying and hiring the best talent. You will be reporting to the VP of People, Culture and Operations. PPM is headquartered in Seattle with locations around the U.S. While you don’t have to be in the office on a regular basis, there will be times you will need to be in the Seattle headquarters for key meetings or interviews.

As the Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will have a lot of influence being on the ground floor, building a scalable, sustainable recruiting process. You will be a part of the team to build the function of the future of the organization. You will apply specific business and labor market knowledge to help the organization and candidates reach optimal hiring decisions. You will bring the voice of the talent strategy to hiring decisions, having a deep understanding of internal and external talent pipelines that are curated. You don’t just fill requisitions; you optimize them in the context of the broader talent strategy. You will partner with the hiring managers to lead the function’s process and tools to fill open requisitions and help the hiring managers use these tools efficiently & effectively. You will educate hiring manager on what skills or characteristics that matter most when they evaluate candidates. You are championing and guiding the hiring managers on how to build a diverse talent pool and workforce. You are the advisor. This isn’t a transactional job.

You are seen as the Talent Advisor with all the staff at PPM. You have gained the credibility and trust with the team. You are not transactional. You are a taskmaster, proactively working with the hiring team to identify, interview and hire the best talent. The hiring team is aligned with the Talent Acquisition process. Therefore, the hiring teams know what to expect for all positions in all geographies. You have built strong connections not just with the PPM team but the industry. You are attending networking events; in-person and/or virtually. You have an uncanny ability to connect with people and energize them around the PPM model and values. You understand DEI, attract and present diverse candidates. You know how to source the right candidates. You have the ability to close tough searches. You have exceptional follow through and have demonstrated results. You have a business mindset therefore understand the business strategy. You are a respected, valued team player. You are happy.

How will you get there?

30 days: 

  • Meet your team
  • Get to know the internal business and key stakeholders
  • Start to meet the Hiring Managers
  • Start to own some requisitions
  • Manage the tactical day to day functions of the entire full lifecycle recruiting

60 days:

  • You know all of PPM’s teams and clients
  • Build a TA strategy for each position you own
  • Meet PPM’s key clients
  • Create relationships with the industry associations
  • Begin pipelining candidates for high demand roles

90 days:

  • You own all the open requisitions
  • Understand talent forecast, partnering proactively with the Hiring Managers
  • You are launching searches in a timely fashion
  • Understand the business as well as types of candidates needed for each level in the organization

What you will need:

  • Full life cycle recruiting for a variety of positions
  • Ability to develop sourcing strategies for each position if needed
  • Ability to build a diverse set of candidates for each position
  • Forward thinking advisor that will lead each opening, working with hiring managers to advise and hire
  • Strong communication skills to lead, influence, collaborate
