We’re looking for a Freelance Content Creator who knows how to turn ideas into stories that resonate, inspire, and move people to act. Whether it’s a video script, a short-form reel, a photo caption, or a long-form feature—if you live and breathe storytelling, this is your space.

Responsibilities
- Create engaging photo, video, and written content across social, web, email, and digital campaigns
- Plan, conduct, and capture interviews for testimonial videos, brand stories, and community features
- Film and edit original content on-site or in the field (events, interviews, day-in-the-life, etc.)
- Collaborate with designers, strategists, and client teams to bring stories to life
- Organize and manage digital assets for reuse and cross-platform distribution
- Stay current with trends and apply them thoughtfully within brand guidelines
Minimum Requirements:
Formal Education and Work Experience:
- Skills in photography, video production, or editing (mobile or pro gear)
- Experience interviewing community members or clients
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field
- Experience in paid social media and boosting campaigns
- 3 years of progressive work experience in marketing, communications and public relations
- Work experience in an agency desirable
- A record of increasingly greater career responsibility and accomplishment
Technical Skills:
- Detailed command of written English, word choice, tone, grammar, punctuation, spelling
- Demonstrated experience with social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn
- Use of project management systems such Asana and Workamajig
Also Required:
- Keen attention to detail, organization and excellent math and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Both leadership and team player qualities are essential
- Entrepreneurial spirit, youthful energy but mature mindset
- Familiarity of local history, culture and marketplace a must
- Ongoing love of learning highly desirable
