What You’ll Do:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy aimed at building the recruiting department, setting clear parameters, and defining goals for the team.
  • Source and recruit candidates using various channels such as databases, social media, and lead programs.
  • Review candidate resumes and applications, ensuring qualifications align with job requirements.
  • Conduct structured interviews, utilizing reliable recruiting methods to identify the best candidates in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate candidates' knowledge, skills, experience, and potential to perform the role.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, building strong relationships throughout the selection process.
  • Work closely with department managers to attract and onboard new representatives.
  • Perform job and task analysis to document key job requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create recruitment materials and post job openings on appropriate job boards, websites, and other platforms.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date job descriptions and specifications.
  • Provide detailed and analytical recruiting reports to the organization.
  • Promote MassMutual Great Lakes as a top employer and "best place to work."

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience; experience in financial services or executive recruiting.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (JobScore preferred) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing, engaging, and interviewing candidates.
  • Proven ability to build and manage effective relationships with stakeholders across departments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple offices.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making abilities.
