In this crucial support role, you will work closely with our Head of Investment, providing essential operational assistance and sharing your knowledge of investment-related products. You'll also build strong relationships with our Financial Advisors and Registered Representatives, serving as a key point of contact and resource. Collaboration with our Home Office will be integral as you help implement and deliver on key firm initiatives.
Please note that while this role does not involve direct solicitation of insurance or investment products, obtaining and maintaining the FINRA Series 7 & 66 securities registrations is encouraged.

Essential Support Function:
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the Head of Investment to ensure smooth daily operations and effective management of the investment calendar.
- Paperwork Proficiency: Serve as the firm's subject matter expert for all MML Investors Services, LLC (MMLIS) paperwork, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness for streamlined processing.
- Advisor Development: Deliver comprehensive orientations and training that equip new Registered Representatives for success.
- Recruiting Support: Play a key role in onboarding new talent by providing expert assistance with business transitions.
- Compliance Communication: Proactively communicate crucial procedural and practice management updates to uphold industry standards.
- Technology Advocate: Not only master MMLIS systems and tools but also empower colleagues to leverage them fully through effective training and ongoing support, driving overall efficiency.
Product Support:
- Contribute to Platform Enhancement: Support the ongoing development and improvement of the brokerage and MMLIS Wealth Management Services (WMS) platforms utilized by the Firm.
- Build External Alliances: Foster strong, value-added relationships with external vendors and wholesalers to benefit the Firm and its advisors.
- Support GDC Growth Initiatives: Play a key role in Firm campaigns designed to drive increased Gross Dealer Concession (GDC) production and overall success.
- Enable Continuous Learning: Coordinate and schedule essential product training sessions with wholesalers to keep the team informed about the latest market trends and product innovations.
Broker-Dealer Liaison:
- Lead the Execution of Home Office Strategies: Take a central role in implementing home office initiatives, ensuring their successful integration and impact within the firm.
- Engage Proactively with Home Office Analysts: Collaborate closely with MMLIS home office Investment Analysts to identify challenges early and develop effective, streamlined solutions.
- Shape Business Processes: Cultivate strong partnerships and leverage your expertise as a process owner to provide valuable insights and contribute innovative ideas that optimize business submissions.
Operational & Administrative Excellence:
- Orchestrates Meetings & Preparation: Efficiently coordinates all aspects of meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and the preparation of necessary materials.
- Ensures Consistent Fact-Finding & Documentation: Champions the consistent utilization and thorough documentation of the designated fact-finding tool, guaranteeing all notes are accurately archived within the CRM system.
- Facilitates Clear Communication Post-Meetings: Creates and disseminates comprehensive discovery notes and clearly defined next steps following all prospects and client engagements.
- Proactive Follow-Up: Diligently follows up with prospects and clients on all outstanding action items to ensure timely progress.
Strategic Relationship Management:
- Efficient Email Management: Skillfully manages email correspondence, including prioritizing responses and ensuring timely follow-up on critical matters.
- Comprehensive Calendar Management: Expertly manages complex calendars, encompassing meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, proactive communication with all involved parties, and meticulous confirmation processes.
- Professional Written Communications: Prepares high-quality written communications on behalf of senior leadership, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and a professional tone.
- Seamless Meeting Support: Provides comprehensive pre- and post-meeting support, including the development of agendas, conducting thorough background research, and creating concise meeting recaps.
- Dedicated Liaison for Stakeholders: Serves as a proactive and responsive liaison between the team and current/prospective brokers and clients, delivering high-touch service and clear, consistent communication.
