Maryland Treatment Centers Inc., provides a comprehensive continuum of treatment for persons of all ages with problems involving substance use. We feature specialty services for adolescents, young adults and adults. Clinical programs include assessment, residential/inpatient, detoxification, day treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient substance abuse, dual diagnosis, mental health, special education and prevention services. Our programs are accredited by the Joint Commission (JCAHO).
We have immediate opening for a Full-Time LMSW Therapist, Full-time LGPC Therapist and a Full-time LCPC Therapist.
Schedule for LM: Monday-Friday Day Shift
Schedule for LG: Monday-Friday Day Shift
Schedule for LC: Day shift 3 days a week and 12PM to 8PM on Tuesdays and another day to be determined.
The overall responsibility of the LMSW/LGPC Therapist is to provide conducting assessments, facilitating groups/individual/family therapy, and coordinating care with the medical team for the young adult inpatient program. We are seeking a compassionate and creative therapist who is committed to creating a change in a young person’s life. The overall responsibility of the LG & LC Therapist is to provide mental health therapy, and to assure a comprehensive continuum of treatment for co-occurring adult and adolescent patients. Therapist will be responsible for assessments, individual sessions, treatment planning and some case management. The Therapist will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, and will coordinate and communicate with psychiatrists and chemical dependency counselors.
LMSW, LGPC and LCPC license with the State of Maryland:
1-2 years experience
Appropriate training in a human service field germane to behavioral healthcare.
Preferred/required area of work experience:
Documented successful experience in a related area of mental health
