Role Description
Our firm is rapidly expanding; we have openings for financial professionals. When starting your journey at an entry level, you’ll be given the opportunity to learn from our seasoned professionals while building strong client relationships while supporting the Financial Advisors in the Lafayette location.
This individual will work 30-40 hours per week as a Financial Advisor Assistant. In this role, you will support an advisory team by managing client relationships, preparing financial documentation, coordinating administrative responsibilities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The position combines client service, organizational skills, and financial expertise.
Responsibilities
- Client support & communication
- Manage client records, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Process account applications, transfers, and service requests
- Track deadlines, maintain calendars, and support daily office operations.
- Assist in preparing financial plans, reports, and investment summaries.
- Gather and organize client financial data for advisor review.
- Ensure all client files meet regulatory and firm standards.
- Maintain accurate records of communications, transactions, and disclosures.
- Support audit preparation
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or administrative support a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfort with financial terminology and client‑facing work.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, financial planning software, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Skills
- Life & Health License, FINRA licensing (Series 6, 7, 63, or 65). Must be willing to take exams within 3 months of employment
- Experience with investment platforms or financial planning tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and support multiple advisors.
