Magnolia Wealth Strategies is a family-focused firm that offers financial solutions to individuals and businesses in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Our main office is located in Metairie with 3rd and 4th generation Advisors.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Director of Sales Training to lead the implementation and evaluation of training programs for Financial Advisors. This pivotal role will drive the development of our salesforce by ensuring advisors have the necessary skills, accountability structures, and performance metrics to excel in their roles and directly support our company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of comprehensive sales training programs aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements for advisor teams.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars using various instructional methodologies.
  • Establish and monitor layers of accountability and performance metrics to ensure advisor development and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales to ensure training initiatives support departmental goals and advisor growth.

Required and Preferred Qualifications Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in training and development, with a proven track record of successful program implementation.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional methodologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evaluating training effectiveness and driving performance improvements.
  • Previous experience in Financial Services and/or Insurance industry.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a sales leadership role within a corporate environment.
  • Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., ATD, CPTD, etc.).

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

  • Experience with data analysis tools to assess training outcomes and advisor performance.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Location

This role requires successful candidates to work from the office located in Metairie.
