Business Consultant – Organizational Effectiveness

Lake Shore Associates (LSA) is looking for strategic talent consultant to support our client’s project. We are looking for an experienced business consultant who has experience working in the HR and/or sales functional areas. This individual would be responsible for learning the client’s sales operating model and translating that model into a talent framework. This framework will drive the successful execution of a new sales strategy. This resource must have a strong understanding of client needs and work well within a cross-function team environment. The candidate will report to a Talent Manager on the project who has accountable for the successful implementation of the new sales model.



  • Collaborate with Sales Strategy and Leadership, Sales Operations, and the Human Resource team to support the development of future state talent management processes.
  • Actively engage with other client stakeholders on information requests and best practice sharing, etc.
  • Help the Talent Manager translate the sales strategy into specific talent processes including, but not limited to, performance management, leadership development, talent reviews, employee engagement, and competency assessment and development.
  • Support the execution of the talent management processes with the client’s sales organization, including roles & responsibilities clarification, talent reviews, skills assessment, and individual development planning.


Required Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years or more experience in leading Talent and HR development programs including training, leadership development, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement and competency modeling.
  • At least 2+ years of sales experience or the equivalent amount of time of consulting experience working in or with the Sales Organization in a Talent Management capacity
  • At least 3+ years’ of consulting experience working with large clients and executing enterprise programs.
  • Must possess and demonstrate excellent presentation development and delivery skills, with ability to inform, influence and impact at senior executive levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or related technical field.
