  • Working with external consultants and partners to support coordination and quality

Studio Leadership

  • Leading and supporting the local BIM and Design Technology team
  • Creating an inclusive, supportive environment for learning and development with the regional studios
  • Sharing, developing and driving best practice, documenting exemplar workflows and contributing to bids
  • Working with studio leadership on resourcing, planning and capability development
  • Representing Design Technology within the studio and local professional community

Global Collaboration

  • Contributing to global BIM standards, content and strategy
  • Collaborating with BIM and DT colleagues across Grimshaw’s international studios
  • Sharing insights, lessons learned and innovation across regions

What You Might Bring

We recognise that experience can be gained in different ways. You may not have everything listed below, and that’s okay.

Technical Experience

  • Strong experience using Revit or other BIM authoring tools

  • Experience of Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar platforms
  • Experience of working within and managing BIM standards such as ISO 19650 (or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting or delivering BIM on large scale projects

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Experience supporting, mentoring or leading others
  • Confidence explaining technical concepts to people with different levels of experience
  • A collaborative, thoughtful approach to problem solving
  • Comfort working across disciplines, cultures and locations

Background

  • A degree or equivalent experience in architecture, engineering, architectural technology or a related field
  • Several years’ experience applying and managing BIM in practice (this does not need to be linear or continuous)

Why Join Grimshaw

  • Work on complex, high profile international projects
  • Be part of a global Design Technology community that values collaboration
  • Influence how BIM and digital design evolve across the practice
  • Flexible working approaches that recognise different working styles and life circumstances
